Dear Mom,
Just to let you know, I'm not sure if I told you this last time, this is my last p-day. I won't be able to e-mail next week. They have you work all day that day and I travel to Louisville Tuesday, stay the night, and fly out Wednesday! Crazy. It still doesn't fully feel real.
But I had a great week! It had it's ups and downs. The downs was being reminded that I'm going home soon. I'm excited to see you and the family of course! But it's hard to realize that you're not going to be doing this work anymore. It's been the most fulfilling thing I've done so far in my life and it's hard to move on from that. I feel like my heart is in two places now. With you and the family and the people I love back home and now a piece of it here in the GKLM. I wish the two worlds come just come together!
The greatest part of this past week was the opportunity I had to go to the temple! I got to be there while Brother and Sister Siletta received their endowment and got sealed! It was the GREATEST experience! One of the best days of my mission. I love those two and their family so much. I've seen such a change come over them and it's just the greatest thing. There's nothing else like it. A lot of the people I knew from the Nicholasville ward were there too to be there with the Siletta's and it was the neatest thing to be all together in the temple with them.
I went to my last Zone Conference this past week. It was great! I always love hearing from President Brough, he's hilarious! And the trainings were great as always. During the AP's training they had me demonstrate a role play where one of the AP's played my stake president releasing me. It was a little rude I feel being so close to going home lol. It made it more real. At the end I bore my testimony with everyone else going home in the next couple of transfers. It was weird being up there.
